Many people have already known that zeroboard has some critical security issues. Also, my website is performed with zeroboard. The zeroboard and XE have advantages and disadvantages. For security, XE might be better, however, zeroboard has lots of skins and ease to modify php source. The choice is on you. Of course, it isn't easy.
